The book follows the Amar Chitra Katha/Tinkle kind of comic art, and explain practical yoga for the householder. It covers not just the Aasanas, but also good practices and recommends an overall lifestyle based on good yogic principles.

Simple things like walking in the morning sun, looking at a lit candle at eye-level, washing your nose with saline solution and gently rubbing your forehead are all described. I wish I would just start practicing half of what’s in the guide – it’s not like it is the hardest thing in the world. The slideshow really, truly made my day!

His book, The Little Book of Hindu Deities: From the Goddess of Wealth to the Sacred Cow is a very gentle introduction to the pantheon of Hindu Gods and Goddesses. If you have absolutely no clue about Hindu Mythology, this is the book for you. Need I say that even if you are Hindu, this might make a wonderful gifts for the tiny tots?
The Little Book of Hindu Deities: From the Goddess of Wealth to the Sacred Cow
